THE BREWERY SAYS:
This sweet and sticky imperial stout is a homage to a favourite cake that our brewer Alex misses from his home state of Texas. Brewed with lots of specialty malts and a generous helping of lactose for a smooth and sweet base, we then aged the beer on toasted coconut and vanilla and then added some pecan for good measure. The result is a luscious and creamy chocolatey stout with an almost oily texture. tons of coconut aroma and a hint of nuttiness in the finish. We may also have laid some down in a barrel for later…
