Pressure Drop – Visit The Mountains Fresh Hop IPA

Fresh hop or green hop beers are  usually the domain of talented cask brewers around the country, taking fresh whole hops directly from the harvest and making a  pale hoppy beer to celebrate the season. We love this tradition but it is not quite within our wheelhouse, so we were super excited to be able to get our hands on fresh green hops from the American harvest this year.
Our hop growers Yakima Chief flash froze whole hops straight off the field and shipped them over here for local brewers to have a go. We went for West Coast classics Simcoe & Citra for this very special IPA.

Visit The Mountains boasts a delicately fresh and floral aroma with notes of satsuma and pine. The flavour is reminiscent of passionfruit and grapefruit, followed by a touch of sweetness paired with a reassuring bitterness.
