Flowers are very much a recurring motif in our branding here at Polly’s HQ – anyone who’s cast an eye over our core range can attest to the fact. We’re a brewery that unashamedly loves wordplay and language – wanting to dip back into our favourite recurring theme, we came up with the portmanteau of flowers and it being the time of year where they bloom, and lo, Floom was born. This DDH Pale is everything we come to expect from our more sessionable output now – high juice, low bitterness, with a big hitter lineup of Azacca, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe in the dry hop, imparting all of those incredible stone fruit, sweet clementine, and sherbert notes on both the nose and the palate. Loaded up to the max with oats in the mash, and fermented out with LA3 for huge amounts of suspension, a beer that punches way above its weight.
