Whilst we’re primarily known for our pale and hoppy beers, every now and again we love to throw a curve ball into our brew plans with a dark beer to keep our brewers happy. We’ll always preach the good word of the classic no-fuss styles here at Polly’s but from time to time you have to embrace your status as a modern brewery and accept that pastry = life. Step forward, Cinnamon Twirl – not quite verging into daft imperial stout territory, but firmly sat in the robust porter ballpark, we’ve amplified this beer up with a heavy dose of Oats in the mash to thicken the mouthfeel up to our usual Polly’s standard, whilst buffing it up even further with generous additions of fresh vanilla pods and cinnamon sticks throughout the brewing process to create a certified sticky sweet delight of a porter – perfect for the chilly autumn evenings ahead.
