THE BREWERY SAYS:

This spiced Cascadian dark ale is part inspired by middle-eastern flavours to link to the protagonists in The Ceremony, Jack King’s new film, but also invokes winter ale flavours.

Using a black IPA-inspired base, but with a pale ale strength, we spiced this beer at three stages with cinnamon, nutmeg, green cardamon and a hint of black pepper to bring those winter and exotic flavours to the fore.

Hopped with some classic US varieties, Centennial, Simcoe and Mosaic, which work brilliantly in dark IPA styles, we also used a touch of Sabro to give this ale a slight undertone of coconut and sweetness.
