Lewes
Beak started life as a nomadic brewery, hopping from premises to premises while brewing seasonally inspired beers with heavyweights like North, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. When the brewery settled down in Lewes (East Sussex), we started getting their beers in – and we were instantly impressed.
It’s fair to say Beak made its name for its hop game. Gloriously bright and fruity, hoppy juicebombs continually fly off their shelves… and their New England IPAs are some of the fluffiest, creamiest, magnificent-est you’ll find anywhere in the UK. Seriously, if you haven’t tried a hoppy number for Beak, are you even into beer?
More recently Beak have been focusing on darks and sours… but it’s still their hops that mark them out. These guys know what they’re doing. We cannot champion them enough.
