It’s been relatively quiet in terms of quantity on the new beers front this week.

But the quality?

Well, I’m about to bang on about Northern Monk’s new juice-fest, Beak’s first EVER sour and an XPA from Polly’s that’ll make you fall in love with the style.

The big news this week is Zagavor are in!

Zaravor brews are rare around these parts and are much sought after, so this week we discuss one of their big hop belter, plus a Zagavor pastry sour.

I write this column weekly. And truthfully, I just cannot remember the last time one week’s worth of new beer releases was so damn good!

This week saw the return of some much loved annual brews from both Pressure Drop and Verdant.

The big talking point, however, was the two new IPAs brewed by both Verdant and Beak in collaboration.
